Real name is Bernadette Jo-Anne Southern-Gilmore. How’s that for a moniker?

Born in the mining village of Haydock in Lancashire, I went into show business
after I left college, appearing in both clubs and theatres. In Canada, the
Skyline chain approached me to work for them both as Diamond Lil and their
Pearly Queen. After ten years with the Skyline, the Holiday Inns in Toronto
offered me a more lucrative position. I have lived in Nova Scotia, Toronto,
Montreal, Ottawa, Kanata, Carp and now live in Leamington. I returned to my
love of writing when I retired from performing. I now work as vice-president
of our consulting company.

I’ve had lots of fun in my life and, as you know I love to chat!

The first attached photo was taken when I was Diamond Lil. The other when I was
the Pearly Queen. Don’t have anything worth sending that is recent. Must see to
that oversight, but don’t hold your breath!
