It is I, Dormouse2...the nick first came about when I chose "Dormouse" as a
Callsign in playing Battle of Britain Flight Simulation programs, usually
using Hawker Hurricanes. I just continued using it when I came onto IRC chat,
because I tend to be very quiet, and just make observations as they come to mind.
I also enjoy having fun with the idiocincrasies of the English Language, so if I
comment on spelling or syntax, don't take it personal...mistakes can be very funny
at times I can help with basic mirc like setting up sound and try to explain using
terms anyone can understand (so again, don't think I'm talking down to you. If you
ask nicely, I may tell you why I am Dormouse "2", and if you like, I will give you
the Dormouse Corollary for Internet Lag.

In real Life, I am retired (not voluntarily), and quite single (also not voluntarily).
I spend my time in chat, or off playing computer games, watching movies of all
varieties on TV or DVD....I've always had an interest in all kinds of motion picture,
television, and military history...amassed a large library of reference books (all of
which I no longer have to use that much thanks to the Internet).

I live in Northern California, in the house my Grandfather built the year after I was
born. I lived a short time during the 60s and 70s in the East Bay area, but came back to my hometown because I didn't care for Big City life..unfortunately, it followed me up here. I also ride herd on a small pride of housecats.
